Step 1: Safety First

Before beginning the installation, switch off the power to the NEMA 14-50 outlet you will be working on. To be sure, use a voltage tester to verify that there is no electricity flowing to the outlet.

Step 2: Identify Mounting Points

Hold the backplate of the Lectron Socket Splitter against the wall near the NEMA 14-50 outlet. Use a level to ensure it is perfectly horizontal. Mark the positions of the screw holes on the wall.

Step 3: Drill and Insert Plastic Anchors

Carefully drill holes at the marked positions. Insert the provided plastic anchors into these holes.

Step 4: Mount the Backplate

Align the backplate of the Lectron Socket Splitter with the plastic anchors on the wall. Securely screw the backplate onto the wall.
