Charge your non-Tesla Electric Vehicle Using any Tesla Charging Station!

It's Tesla's world, at least it would seem so wouldn’t it? Don’t worry the Lectron J1772 Adapter is here to change things up! This adapter allows you to charge electric vehicles that are not Teslas, using any Tesla charging station!

The adapter itself is not too large and is high quality and durable. Simply plug one side into your electric car and the other side into the Tesla charger to access public Tesla charging stations. Used with a level 2 charging station, this adapter will help you charge up your vehicle quickly, and allow you to get between 25-40 miles per hour of battery life.

Below is a quick installation guide by Gregg from GregglesTV on YouTube as well as a quick review of the product.

How to use the adapter:

Connect to Tesla Charger: Press the red button on the Tesla charger side to release the cap on the adapter and keep it pressed when sliding it onto the Tesla charger.

Plug into your vehicle: Take the charging end and plug it directly into your electric car, use the grey lever to release the charger once done.

Why buy this adapter? Teslas are some of the most popular cars in America and perhaps other countries too. Some hotels or residential areas only have Tesla chargers available in their vicinity. Having this adapter on hand broadens the options for all you non-Tesla electric vehicle owners out there! Moreover, if ever you are in an emergency and you only have access to Tesla chargers, this adapter would come in very handy.

All-in-all the Tesla to J1772 Adapter is high quality, reliable, and functional so for all you non-Tesla users this is the perfect product to keep on hand!

The superchargers won’t deliver electricity until it communicates with a Tesla and is either paid for by the vehicle owner or is otherwise authorized to use it.
You can tell it’s “super” by the cable coming out from the inside of a large oval shaped unit.

Kinda wish I could get an 🇪🇺 Tesla 3 with built in CSS, ohh well.

The Lectron 240-Volt 16 Amp Level 2 EV Charger I received had an automoblle plug which was difficult to insert or reomve. Vericona responded to the issue and sent a replacenemt charger. It works great, no more problem! Thanks to Lectron for the fast and competent Customer Service!

I just received my Lectron adaptor. I can not get the cap off the end that goes into the charge station. Is there a trick?

The adapter is listed as not being compatible with a Tesla Superharger. How can I tell the difference, or are they clearly labeled?

I don’t want to turn my Kia NIro EV into a heap of ashes!

Looking at purchasing the Tesla to J1772 Adapter, for the new Rivian R1T, 180 kilowatt battery pack. Vehicles are expected to begin selling winter/spring of 2022. My question is will this adapter work on the Rivian vehicles? Thank you.

This is exactly what I’m interested in doing but need to confirm my 2021 Lincoln Aviator Hybrid will work as noted above. Can you confirm this? Thanks very much!!!!
